Efter att ha lyssnat i en timma på Mike Malloy show på Air America Radio fattar jag verkligen hur förbannade många amerikaner är på det som händer i New Orleans just nu. Mike är verkligen inget undantag och inte undra på, radioteamet har nämligen snappat upp att USA:s Röda Kors är förbjudna av The Department for Homeland Security, dvs Vita huset, att göra insatser i New Orleans. Röda Korset får inte ens komma till Superdome där massor med människor samlats för skydd undan stormen. Det låter helt vansinnigt men det är sant. Utdelning av mat skulle nämligen kunna locka folk tillbaks till New Orleans!! På deras hemsida låter förklaringarna lätt uppgivna.
”Acess to New Orleans is controlled by the National Guard and local authorities and while we are in constant contact with them, we simply cannot enter New Orleans against their orders”.
”The state Homeland Security Department had requested–and continues to request–that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane. Our presence would keep people from evacuating and encourage others to come into the city”.
Vad är det för sätt att resonera? Vem skulle med vilje ta sig tillbaks till det helvetshålet för lite soppa och en bit bröd? Och riskera att bli skjuten av plundrare? Ta sig tillbaks till New Orleans? När Röda Korset redan har massor med insatser i Louisiana? Om inte Busken får äta upp det här så kommer jag att sluta tro på mänskligheten. Läs Billmon till exempel:
”There was a striking discrepancy between the CNN International report on the Bush visit to the New Orleans disaster zone, yesterday, and reports of the same event by German TV. ZDF News reported that the president’s visit was a completely staged event. Their crew witnessed how the open air food distribution point Bush visited in front of the cameras was torn down immediately after the president and the herd of ’news people’ had left and that others which were allegedly being set up were abandoned at the same time”.
Busken har dessutom gett sin vapenbroder Cheney’s Halliburton av alla företag i uppdrag att bygga uppsamlingsläger för de drabbade eller vad man skall kalla det. Förmodligen vill han utmanövrera Röda Korset därför att hans djupblå organisation anser att organisationen är en liberal extremvänsterorganisation eftersom de förespråkar humanism och ge Haliburton mer statliga pengar medan folk dör och tvingas sitta i sina exkrementer.
